  Competently presented new cuisine with a pleasant view of the bay. My lamb rump (pictured in Alan Whitbread's review below) was accurately cooked medium and a faint pinkness was retained at the centre of the cut. The pumpkin in this dish was cold by the time it reached me; the lamb lukewarm; the potato puree hot. The reduced, onion-based sauce was over-salted but tasty. A few tiny slivers of peas in their pods did little to entice people who like their greens. The pricing is moderate unless or until you add alcohol. A bottle of wine could easily double your bill. I would also recommend that the restaurant replace its seating. The seats are hard, totally without back support and their top bar, curved and of a height to fit no-one in particular, bites your upper back all night.

  Always a pleasure to dine here. Menu changes regularly, is imaginative and it works. Definitely need to book as is very popular. Gary and staff are friendly and helpful, caring about your experience here. Great food, good wines. My go to restaurant for a good dining experience.

  Great food and wonderful service. They have a nice selection of drinks. I got the kangaroo which was very tender and full of flavour. You might want to book ahead as they are busy every night. I sat outside because there wasn't any room but they gave me a blanket and looked after me well

  The owner is amazing and you can really tell he loves what he does for a living and loves watching over to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy!

  Great service and spectacular food/atmosphere. A romantic setting for 2, prices are a-ok for the quality you get.
